The script was pretty awful and the direction was pretty bad. I loved the first few movies but these latest ones are just horrible. Also UNICRON is NOT EARTH!! Jeez... I wish these self absorbed directors would stick to the canon. If you have nothing else to watch and you are drinking or high, it's pretty good...

I will always watch these movies just like the fast and furious movies but the plot needs saving. So many issues in the movie they need to fix. Transformers 1 to 3 they had plot holes but they were still good movies. After they killed off the old TF's in 4 i knew it was all about Bumble bee and Optimus Prime $$$. The acting is fake and no doubt has some issues. Count how many times Mark whelberg slides on the ground in the movie its ridiculous!!! He sometimes does it for no reason. The biggest issue is the Plot. Why are Transformers illegal still but still fighting for the humans!!! Are the autobots getting slaughtered still getting no justice? You would think the movie was going to be about them regaining their name. Instead its another attempt to rebuild cybertron (Death Star SW7 your not slick either). The Decipticons were not as big as they should be and are still being downplayed. Prime and B still have too much power. They went too far with the history its killing the first 3 movies. I used to defend Michael bays movies but he really doesnt care to think about the plot just what gets him money.(New hot girl who leaves probably because of mike, Dramatic action scenes, bringing back military action as if not to real in more money, and B and Prime the money hoarders) These reviews mean nothing to him but im just letting yall know someone cares. TF1 my favorite plot hole though they keep the cube away from megatron just to give it to him in the end?!?! REALLY MIKE !!!! smh please dont say im disloyal i mean how do you defend these movies any more? wheres james camerons Avatar???

Storyline is draggy. Does not make sense at all. Poor acting. Pure garbage. Wasted two hours of my time. Quite surprise how much crap it is when it is a big budget movie. And I am a BIG Transformer Fan.

More plot holes than you can count and an entirely unrealistic timeline.

While this isn't my favorite transformers movie yet(Dark Side of the Moon), I still thoroughly enjoyed it. It differs in style from the others which gives it a different sort of flavor. It does have a slower start, but offers more history to the franchise. Expect a lot of Michael Bay humor and great action sequences like previous titles.

I loved the humor, the action, and the cheesiness that the transformer movies brought. I enjoyed each one, watched them multiple times and loved the balance they brought between action and comedy. Was the acting always amazing?... no Were the scripts rich with the contexts of complex characters or plots?... no But there was something special about the movies that made me and many others keep coming back. This movie had nothing to offer. Nothing to inspire, even when Prime spoke and gave his speech it was so underwhelming the cast felt the need to say it was inspiring ( perhaps to give the audience the clue that it was meant to be a profound moment) since the scene was void of any spirit. The movie lacked passion, the director and actors seemed to have given up on the story of Transformers. The end result, a movie that's climax fell short, leaving it to never reach its full potential.
